631176 2008-01-17 04:49:00 Hi Guys, I have 3 lappies at home, all used by kids. As a result of the kids dragging the power supplies around all three have suffered damage to the DC jack plugs. I have replaced them on a regular basis but they keep melting as the replacements I have got from DSE and the likes are all rated at 1A. has anybody found 4 or 5A rated replacement jacks? I don't really want to shell out $60 - $80 bucks a throw for power packs if I can just buy the jack plugs.
Thanks in advance. SJK.

I have replaced them on a regular basis Maybe you should tell them treat them correctly other wise they will be paying to fix them - its amazing how fast they learn when they suddenly have to pay for repairs.
