| 631447 | 2008-01-18 06:45:00 | I notice the last update definition file is 27Dec2007. When I update I keep getting "no new update" yet Lavasoft site shows a more recent update. I downloaded that update and replaced the definition file. Then when I ran Ad-Aware SE the program tells me the definition file is 4000 odd days out of date. When I update again, it reverts back to the 27Dec2007 definition file. Is Ad-Aware SE now totally replaced by Ad-Aware 2007? Same issues applies on both XP & Win98 computers. Anyone else having issues? |

If that is the case it doesnt help my Win98SE computer since Ad-Aware 2007 is not Win98 compatible. Have just been to Lavasofts site and it has just been updated with the following: There was a flaw in the latest definition update file (SE1R213) which reported Ad-Aware SE Plus, Pro and Enterprise’s definition file as being 730845 days out of date. This issue has now been resolved. Please update Ad-Aware SE to obtain the repaired file. Will now update it. |

| 631456 | 2008-01-18 21:55:00 | So I must have imagined that I read on a Tech site that Ad-Aware SE Personal was to be discontinued and the last update would be on 271207, and as I have seen to have happened on a Win98SE computer which I maintain for someone else on a regular basis. Plus I have it on another boot of XP on my computer and it stopped updating. |
