| 631372 | 2008-01-18 02:18:00 | i downloaded a UXTheme Patch (5.0) and when i ran it it just changed me to windows classic and when i attempt to apply the Aero theme again it says "The theme could not be loaded because the theme service is not running. File: C:\Windows\Resources\aero.theme I have no idea what to do-anybody know how to get Aero back??? i cant standddd Classic |

| 631373 | 2008-01-18 02:20:00 | i thought the UXTheme Patch was for xp? try using your windows cd, apply the patch again and it should ask you if you want to repair the changed files if i remember correctly |

It doesn't like it. :lol: The UX Patch is ONLY for XP, not vista. Check the services, i think it's the Desktop Window Manager Session Manager that needs to be running, failing that, do a system restore or a repair. I guess you've checked in the themes, and tried rebooting the PC? |
