632870 2008-01-22 19:43:00 Hi folks.
I have a compac Presario running Vista home Premium.
When I open windows explorer, Several folders have the little "shortcut" arrow over them. when I try to open them i get a message box with "Location not available" at the top of the box and "Access Denied"
The folders are

Admin/ Application Data, Cookies, Local settings, My documents, Net Hood, Print Hood, Recent, Send To, Start Menu, Templates.

C:/ Documents and settings

Have run Spybot and Ad Aware. both came back clear.
Running Norton Antiviris which is updated automaticaly and scans daily.
Otherwise the system is working normally.
As I am the only user I have full Admin control.

Its a link, and doesnt actually exist.

It's there for program compatibility

If you go to C:\users it wont give you an error.
