632395 2008-01-21 04:41:00 Trying to connect an external monitor to this Fujitsu S Series Lifebook notebook computer. Changed to external monitor in the BIOS setup, boots OK (external monitor displays as expected) up to loading Windows flash screen. But just before loading the Windows log in screen, the external monitor shuts down and chages to the the built-in small screen.

This looks like it's a Windows issue. OS: XP Prof. Where in XP can I configure it to use external monitor? User manual says that it supports external monitor and there is a terminal at the rear of this Lifebook.

Where have I done wrong?

Any idea what teh video chipset is?

And check the manufacturers site for an updated driver.
