62561 2002-07-15 01:13:00 Have taken a Chinese Homestay Boarder. Does anyone know of an English-Chinese translation CDRom programme that I can type a word or sentence into & have it translate? He has come in with a gadget like an Electronic Organiser, mini-mini Laptop, that does it but all the instructions/keys etc are in Chinese. He said it cost $200 in China, I suspect that is US $200 (about NZ$450) as Dick Smith wants NZ$498 (shock horror, picks himself upoff the floor). I have the computer, can I just load a programme into it. Any ideas folks?? Curious Poppa John :)

PS does anyone know how to toilet train a Cockatiel?. He insists on dropping little parcels around the house. Thank God he's not a seagull.
Happy Poppa John :)

62562 2002-07-15 01:19:00 You can fix the cockatiel problem easily.

It requires a small injection in the ear.

A small piece of lead is injected (from a gun).

No more droppings.........

This advice is free....

62565 2002-07-15 01:29:00 In the interests of economy, feed the cockatiel to the boarder, preferably stir fried, on rice (sans feathers) godfather (25)
