| 1422614 | 2016-07-02 22:56:00 | Hi, I am wondering if it is okay for a tower pc to be laid on its side while running windows as normal and doing usual day to day tasks, like internet, email, word etc....? Will I start to experience any problems or is this completely a bad idea? See picture for example: 7293 Cheers |

Just some advise though, it pays to have the motherboard on the bottom not hanging from the top - Simple reason - Gravity will want to make any components fall down. Seen it in cars if the motherboard is on the top, go over a bump in the road and the graphic cards / memory can move and dislodge. That's why I always put them on their sides motherboard down in the boot so any bumps will force components into the board should they be loose. :) |
