| 1419006 | 2016-04-13 02:38:00 | Flashed CM13 (Marshmallow) to my girlfriends S5 in November. Her battery life is absolutely ridiculous, just how long that thing lasts now!! Had to manually %@#$ around and disable the NFC libraries coz it would keep the phone awake and drain incredibly fast (With no way to turn it off), but once we fixed that after a day or two it's been amazing and solid ever since. She's stoked with it!! Nothing official, it's only just starting to trickle out to certain devices in the states now AFAIK? |

My Note 3 is on 5.0 with no updates available despite several revisions to 5.0 being around for months on other devices. Having said that it's very smooth and stable. My Nexus 7(2012) was up to 5.2 but I rolled it back to 4.4 in frustration, I don't think it has enough RAM for lollipop personally. Samsung don't rush to update all their phones, and will understandably focus on the newest models first. Unless your phone came out in the last 6 months expect to wait a while. If it's more than a year or 2 old don't hold your breath. |
