1419450 2016-04-29 05:58:00 pc - It's not often that I get feedback from a Messianic Jew like yourself . All that research you just posted is always good when you need to defend your faith . Congratulations for that; I applaud you .

To others who may not understand your religion, what you've posted is directly out of the Levitical Law (The Torah, from The Pentateuch or the first five books of the bible) and some of it is from the ancient Talmud and the Pharisaic-Sephardic or Halakhah Law .

Which one do you ascribe to? Your familiarity of those edicts shows me the total strength of your faith .

You know as well as I that when you tell others about what you believe that there's a lot of

a . indifference
b . failure to comprehend by others and
c . outright hostility for the faith you have and for the thing in which you believe .

It's bad when people who don't understand enough - or even very much- of your religion when they accuse you of hypocrisy - when they don't have all the facts . I admire your perspective and observations .

Keep your stance; I find it admirable .

Your bible contains the same drivel.
Your religion just chooses to ignore most of those parts and the other twaddle fed to the halfwits that blindly accept it without thinking.

After all, I was fed the same rubbish, I just thought.

1419453 2016-04-29 22:55:00 Yes thinking and not believing things without proof is not good! Cicero (40)
1419454 2016-04-29 23:34:00 : #444444; font-style : italic; "> : #444444; font-style : #444444; font-style : italic; "> : italic; "> Yes thinking and not believing things without proof is not good!

Cic : #444444; font-style : italic; "> : are you separating 'thinking' and 'believing'?

THINKING : #444444; font-style : italic; "> :

: #444444; font-style : italic; "> : the action of using your mind to produce ideas, decisions, memories, etc. : #444444; font-style : italic; "> : the activity of thinking about something

BELIEVING : #444444; font-style : italic; "> :

: #444444; font-style : italic; "> : to consider to be true or honest <believe the reports> <you wouldn't believe how long it took>

Both are transitive verbs, and imply action to the object of the sentence. Your sentence is somewhat complicated with implied objects of twin predicates, and reflexive to an unknown subject (a noun - IIRC : #444444; font-style : italic; "> : being the predicate nominative - but it's been a long time since English 1) in the sentence. Interesting.

If there's any English 1 students in the audience, I will completely acquiesce.
