Why would anyone honestly expect JK not to be doing this, everyone else is. Those with less money, and those not motivated to make millions don't have tax havens. No surprise, surely ? I bet if you looked at the richer Labour politician's, you'll also find tax havens . Or some other rort of taxpayer money. Even labour wont/didn't change laws if its going to effect their own pockets . Just more anti-JK and ignoring the rest of the politicians. |

However, it is John Key who is vigorously saying that NZ is not a tax haven despite manifest evidence to the contrary. No one from the Key camp has yet actually put forward anything to say that NZ is not a tax haven, come on lets hear something, not red herrings about DuPlessis Allan, or about the Herald owing tax or other elliptical crap. Quote: "HOW EASY NZ LAWS MADE IT The records, among 11.5 million documents leaked in a global media investigation led by the International Consortium of Journalists, show how Mossack Fonseca bragged to clients how easy New Zealand laws made it for foreign investors to hide their tax-free profits. New Zealand Prime Minister John Key was forced to defend the country's tax laws last week, dismissing an Australian Financial Review report that detailed the offshore trusts set up in New Zealand for Mr Schembri and Mr Mizzi." end of quote (Key is good at the dismissive shrug-off :) ) www.afr.com |

Why would anyone honestly expect JK not to be doing this, everyone else is. But thats just the point. He denied everything but when he felt the heat from the blowlamp on his backside he does one of his spectacular About Turns and appoints a mate to investigate. No doubt the mate will be briefed on what he can and cannot find. |

| 1418851 | 2016-04-13 19:56:00 | do you think the average voter cares about tax havens or blind trusts? they care about jobs, schools, interest rates on their mortgage, healthcare. Little is polling less than Goff. LOL |

Little is polling less than Goff. LOL I think I am an "average voter". This new evidence about tax havens, which have been enabled by various governments, clearly shows another gross unfairness of our society. If anything is an example of "one law for the rich and another law for the poor", this is. |

If anything is an example of "one law for the rich and another law for the poor", this is. I thought it had always gone like this: "The upper class keeps all of the money and pays none of the taxes. The middle class pays all of the taxes, and does all of the work, and the poor are there just to scare the s**t out of the middle class." ;) |
