1419630 2016-05-05 23:26:00 I'm surprised if those kind of calls go to cell phones Neil, I haven't had a single spam phone call since ditching the landline in favour of a cell phone. I assumed it was due to cellular call charges, but maybe it's just because cell phones aren't usually publicly listed. dugimodo (138)
1419631 2016-05-06 01:13:00 . These messages are never received when my phone is on, always when my phone is off, and I see them sometimes days later.

Cheers

Bloody Indian spam ph calls, Id bet. We get them all the time, wanting to 'fix' our website (to get better google hits)

Do you have that cellph number on your website , or do you have a domain name with that cellph no as the contact details
Perhaps you gave that ph no to someone who passed it on to tele-marketers

or, how long have you had the cell ph number. Since the ph companies re-use cell ph numbers, these calls may have been a concequence of what the previous owner of that number was doing .

1419632 2016-05-10 09:42:00 Billy, are you with Spark? 182 for me is a reminder about data caps

Yes, and I spotted their message a couple of days ago, so that solves one mystery and opens another one:

I don't do data on my phone, at all, not ever, nada, zilch, zippo!!! so why are they hounding me?

Cheers

neither do we.
So I rang them and asked for net access to be disabled to prevent accidental connecting.

Q: Do you have that cellph number on your website, or do you have a domain name with that cellph no as the contact details

A: Nope!

Q: Perhaps you gave that ph no to someone who passed it on to tele-marketers . Always possible . . . . . . . . . . . . but I doubt it in this instance .

A: So do I!

Or, how long have you had the cell ph number .

A: Forever and a day

Q: Since the ph companies re-use cell ph numbers, these calls may have been a consequence of what the previous owner of that number was doing?

A: No chance . . . . . . . . . . . . . . My number was copied off Moses' wristband, it was the logon for his GPS .

But thanks for checking . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Cheers
