1423041 2016-07-13 09:38:00 My neighbour bought this card for his teenage son (what a lucky young man), told me this afternoon that the fans of this card are not working !

I checked and found that the fan does spin up while booting but stops soon after Windows loaded, and keeps idle until the temp rises to 65 C.

Is there a way to control and configure the fans to spin up at a lower temperature?

This PC is running Win10 Pro .

Cheers

Takes a while to get it configured if you have not used before which I found a couple of months ago

1423043 2016-07-13 19:28:00 What's the issue, 65 is not hot for a graphics card. As long as it's not overheating and throttling under load why worry about it, I'm pretty sure the fan doesn't run because it's designed that way. dugimodo (138)

Fans come on & off when required.
Works great, just leave it to look after itself.

1423046 2016-07-14 18:29:00 In the desktop its only running in 2d mode, run gpuz to get a look at all the stats

1423047 2016-07-14 23:49:00 I run my EVGA fans on manual. I leave them on 30% and very occasionally increase them to 60% when I do something intensive

(30% = can't hear the fans, greater than 70% = can't hear anything else...)

The software for doing this is EVGA Precision 16

Of course, I run GPU-Z to keep an eye on things
