| 633618 | 2008-01-24 19:11:00 | Guys Ive just purchased second-hand, a FlyView 147 USB TV/Radio tuner. Its going quite well, considering my aerial system, but it seems to have a couple of glitches. 1: I cant work out how to record FM Radio. I get the channels and they play fine but cant seem to find a way to record them? I cant see anything in the manual about recording FM radio. Its all about recording TV. I tried Goldwave but it seems to monitor Line In and I cant see how to change to Line Out. Anyone any suggestions? 2: I doesnt have channel 1. Is this because NZ is one of the few countries that use Channel 1? |

Don't know of any software for recording radio input, try Google maybe. www.google.com Or similar search pattern. The Manual is on the same CD as the Drivers and could best be described as useless. Ive Googled and about all Ive discovered is LifeView & FlyTV-USB2 are one and the same. Its not a digital tuner, just the old VHF/UHF and FM Radio. Works OK, just like to be able to record the FM Radio off it. I havent tried recording Video yet. That will probably be another story. Can you guys with Huappauge 3000 & 4000s record FM Radio? |

It appears to be called LifeView TVR Speedy. Since my last post I've recorded some TV no problem. Good quality too. Just doesn't seem to have any facility to record FM Radio. |

Thanks Bantu, it bothers me why, but, if thems the rules then?? Maybe someone out there can explain . Surely there must be a way to capture the FM Radio before its on its way to the speakers? Ive thought about splitting & hooking line out to line in but my fading training doesnt recommend this . :illogical There must be a way to capture line out as opposed to line in???? This is driving me nuts . Who said too late? :D |

| 633627 | 2008-01-26 23:02:00 | Hmmm, cant find any software anywhere but Im wondering if I installed another Sound Card, (Id then have On Board Sound + Sound Card) and took the line out of On Board Sound to the Line In of the Sound Card whether Id be able to record the sound in using say Goldwave. If anyone can understand that Id be interested in their comments. :D I guess its the feedback issue Im trying to overcome. :illogical |
