On the Home computer, when I plug the drive in, I get the message bubble that says it's connected, and when I remove the device, I get a message bubble telling me it's safe to do unplug it. On the Work computer, however, I get no message bubbles. Period. And damned if I can find where to turn it on! I've checked in the Device Manager, and the option to suppress error messages is not checked, so it must be a setting somewhere else. Home computer is running XP Home SP2, work computer is XP Pro SP2. |
