633141 2008-01-24 19:17:00 The first one is a javascript error, usually caused by an undeclared object or attempting to call methods on a non-object. The second lot are all inconsequential CSS errors, and can be safely ignored.
Thanks Bletch - kind of confirms what I was doing - if I turn off JavaScript - PressF1 Loads within a second or two.
So with javascript enabled, It's hanging, and then if I click refresh it jumps to where its meant to be going. - a real pain.

So with javascript enabled, It's hanging, and then if I click refresh it jumps to where its meant to be going. - a real pain.The javascript error isn't what's causing the problem. The problem is caused by slow ad servers. The reason turning off javascript fixes this is that all the main 'ad' parts of the page are dynamically inserted using javascript. No javascript = no ads = no slow adservers.

633143 2008-01-24 19:58:00 Hopefully someone will fix it soon - its a pain, since so many people are having problems.
Whats annoying is when posting - sometimes it hangs then times out and you lose what was written- had that a few times. --- Maybe to many ads - :p

633144 2008-01-24 20:38:00 The following CSS will fix it in most browsers - most do not load external (visual) resources that aren't visible.
/*remove ads and misc branding clutter, clean up layout */
.fairfax_nav,
#jcornerSmall,
#jcornerBig,
#advert-banner,
#header,
#navigation,
#page-peel-right-6,
.tfoot,
.sponsored_links,
table[width="160"],
td[width="180"],
td[width="170"],
td[width="300"],
div[align="center"] a[target="_new"],
div[onmouseover="peel()"],
img[alt="PC World Forums"],
embed[name="jcornerSmallObject"],
embed[umode="transparent"],
div embed,
object
{display: none;}The method for applying it varies between browsers.

Edit: the '.,' above should be '. t f o o t ,' (sans spaces) - for whatever reason the forum is refusing to display it.
