2004-12-17 02:58:00 | Could you define quality in this instance Mr Buckman? Oh, Quality is that which is mercifully unstrained. Or unrestrained, or - err - - :help:

2004-12-17 03:09:00 | Can this be done: I open up a stack of threads into new tabs in the background to view and on the old forum the links for these threads used to change to the visited link colour. On this forum the unvisited links are bold and stay bold until the page is refreshed. I don't want to refresh the page until I have read all that I want to view but I do want the links to go unbold to show that the thread was visited after clicking on them. Possible?

2004-12-17 03:11:00 | Why not turn off the display of individual post counts. That will reduce the amount of overhead caused by people who think size matters. :) Yeah and there will be no excuse for post-padding in the new forum. You have the ability to edit your posts.

2004-12-17 03:44:00 | You know, the spell check never did that much for the quality of posts before :stare: At least now we can go back and edit our mistakes .... i'm shocked, all you have to do is right click to spell check locally, why wait 10 seconds for each technical term to be queried by the PF1 server? www.millerton.co.nz USE THE POWER OF THE OTHER BUTTON :D

2004-12-17 04:27:00 | I have a suggestion for the new forum Mary-Bruce, Differentiate the post count between PF1 Help Forum and PF1 Chat Forum  | Murray P (44) | |
2004-12-17 04:35:00 | I've just adjusted the number of threads/posts per page, this goes up to 80 now - hope this is more to your liking That's great Mary - any chance you can lift it to 100 like on the old forum? And while you're at it, can you also allow us to display more than 20 threads on the forum main page (eg 100) like on the old forum? That would be much better than having to click through pages of 20 threads. There aren't enough threads displayed on the main forum page. At least give us the option to choose how many to display - 20 isn't enough. Thanks, Mike.
