633813 2008-01-25 08:27:00 There are some shops around here, that still sell 478 pin mobos.

I was lucky to find a shop in Newmarket up here that still sold them. When my last 478 pin died. That was round end of 2004 - mid 2005.

And the same shop is still selling them now AFAIK. Yeah I know some places still sell 478, also getting harder to obtain, most suppliers dont have them any more, maybe the odd one does, but not many - just checking in case it was purchased from some where like Trade ME, and the seller not being completely honest.

Of course it could also be DOA - It does happen.

633817 2008-01-25 22:52:00 So is there any way to fix a faulty motherboard? nzjab06 (101)
633818 2008-01-25 23:08:00 So is there any way to fix a faulty motherboard? Depending on whats wrong with them, usually the price in labor and parts out ways the price of a new board.
You could spend hours looking for a fault and never find it.
