633788 2008-01-25 06:34:00 After taking a look at the Pricespy web page, I am wondering how many types of memory modules are there for laptops... I personally only know of the term "SODIMM", but not jargons like "200 pin" and so on.

Darn, time for knowledge check.

633789 2008-01-25 06:51:00 Go to www.crucial.com and run the diagnostics test or input your motherboard make and model and it will tell you what type of ram you need. The either go to a site such as pricespy and find the cheapest (non-DSE [lol]) or go to a computer shop such as ifocus or qmb. nzjab06 (101)

Cheers for that. In that case, I will opt for Kingston ValueRAM 1GB 533MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL4 SODIMM (www.nfc.co.nz), since it is cheaper plus branded.
