| 219903 | 2004-04-01 06:13:00 | hi ya Um not sure exactly but for the camera alone $650.00 or there abouts, battery charger, and new memory card, and camera bag and car charger came as a package deal with it, so i ended up still spending less than Harvey Norman had it advertised at for camera alone @ $999.00 so i saved about $300 - $400 i think. and still met by budget. and i am very pleased with it, its all i want i just have to learn a few more of the bells and whistles (over time) and get it really cranking along. well worth the wait. Fujifilm Finepix S5000 3.1 mega pixel (6.2 mp video? recorded) 10x optical 2.2x digital auto settings and manual settings, and ? what else do you need to know? easy to use, nice and light, and just what i like, beetle |

I see other bits of info come to light in another thread on camera's and am still a little perplexed as to the problems with parallel imports versus normal products . Any one explain things a bit further than we already have on this thread? apart from the warranty problem i had, where it had to go back to asia, i see no differences, or problems with the camera i have compared to if i had bought it from HN or DSE? What is the big hang up? and product / brand names are we stuck in a rut? do we have to have canon or kodak? over anything else? Flames at the ready? :D luvs ya really . . . . . :p beetle |
