| 633629 | 2008-01-24 19:30:00 | Thirteen years ago my word processor churned out my documents in *wps format. When MS Word came along, I used the MS wps converter to read them and all was fine. I even gave those old files the *doc attachment. Recently it has been necessary to e-mail some of these files as attachments and I am getting reports from recipients that they cannot open them. I suspect that some of these so-called *doc files are actually *wps in disguise. How can I force these to change format? I have searched the Word manual but cannot find the answer. Thanks in advance for any help. |
