| 633519 | 2008-01-24 08:07:00 | Hi there, the wireless LAN on my laptop has not been working for a while . i can't even activate it . when i tried to access it by right clicking the wireless connection icon, i found a "Repair" command . When I tried that, it says that Windows couldn't repair it, as it couldn't connect to the wireless network . It also says: "Contact the person who manages your network" Is this a possible hijacking? :help: kele |

When it says repair, its not repairing your network adapter but its trying to repair the connection that is not working . Windows can't do so thats why it asks you to talk to the person who manages your network (it assumes you work in a large office or whatever) and tell them to look the issue up further . And NO, nothing has been hijacked . Something is just not working, either your laptop's wireless adapter or the wireless network itself . Try re-booting the router if this is just at home . |
