| 633213 | 2008-01-23 18:01:00 | I know this isn't exactly a PC hardware question but it's PC related and it's a self help forum right? Anyways, I was wondering whether anyone knows of any forums that are directly aimed at discussing Internet Anonymity and helping people achieve it? The reason I ask is that I'm seeking to be so. I could really do with a program that finds around 50+ Level 1 proxies in different locations that are non-CoDeen/PlanetLab. Manually enterting proxies into FF from proxy lists is simply not an option since the majority of proxies are dead or incredibly slow so I'd like a program to just find and sort everything out so they're there ready to be used. Many Thanks, ~Tracer |

| 633214 | 2008-01-24 06:13:00 | Could I suggest having a look at proxyswitcher.com/ (http://www.proxyswitcher.com/). Nice program and the tutorials are helpful. Really depends on your present knowledge, but I hope it is helpful for you. | pheonix (36) | ||

Many Thanks, ~Tracer Yes, I highly recommend Wilders Security Forums (www.wilderssecurity.com). Proxy sites are not the best way of achieving internet anonymity. A program like Xerobank Browser (xerobank.com) is good. It's portable (runs from a USB pendrive etc), free, and does the job quite well. |

| 633216 | 2008-01-24 10:14:00 | I was going to say TORPARK which is based on an older version of Firefox but its verryyyyy sloooow. No longer supported as Xerobank Browser I think has replaced it? | apsattv (7406) | ||
| 633217 | 2008-01-24 10:20:00 | Come to think of it, does anyone know whether using a proxy server couple with a Prezzy card works with getting music from Amazon U.S? I'd like to be a legal downloader but outside the U.S is not supported. |

It was rebranded to avoid confusion with the Tor network. Xerobank Browser is essentially Torpark browser. xB Browser is slow because it uses the tor network which is a group of servers scattering the globe, info is relayed through these for anonymity. |
