634354 2008-01-27 06:26:00 For some weird reason Wikipedia is shown in some kind of basic mode on Firefox.

But when shown in IE7, Wikipedia is shown just fine and normal.

Here are 2 pics of Wikipedia showing on Firefox:

Anybody else having this problem on Firefox?

634355 2008-01-27 06:33:00 I think thats caused by a bug or something in FF's cache.

Its been in most of the versions up to the latest version of 2.x.

Hopefully. they fix it in 3.x.

Its on 50 MB by default (its in options / advanced / network).

Go over it, it screws up.

It does the same thing with the herald site, until u clear the cache.

There's another post here somewhere about it.

634358 2008-01-27 08:51:00 Don't forget, you can also change the look of Wikipedia from the standard view (en.wikipedia.org) to use different "skins" such as Cologne Blue (en.wikipedia.org), Modern (en.wikipedia.org) or (my favourite) Chick (en.wikipedia.org) amongst others. This can be set in your Wikipedia account if you're signed up (en.wikipedia.org). sal (67)
