635323 2008-01-30 02:37:00 Could someone please tell me how i delete the contacts that i have in my block list in MSN Messenger. I have version 8.1. When i highlight the contact in the block list it does not give me the option to delete the contact from that list. That particular option is ghosted.

Does it mean that the contact has not deleted me therefore i cant delete them?

Would appreciate if some could please advise a solution.

Thanks.

635324 2008-01-30 03:10:00 Probably coz theyre already blocked.

I would say they have be added before you can delete them

635326 2008-01-30 03:55:00 Beeswax-I can move them from the block list to the allow list but still cannot delete them that option remains ghosted.

Of those in my block list i could actually delete one and not sure why that particular one.

Speedy-Not quite sure what your indicating. They were added originally and then i used the block and delete option which moved them into the block list but from there i cannot physically remove them if that makes sense.

That’s correct; they have to delete you, before you can delete them.

635328 2008-01-30 04:18:00 Try installing aMSN and using that to delete the contacts . I have found that it can sometimes do things that other MSN clients are unable to .

If aMSN can delete the unrequired contacts MSN Messenger should then not display them .

Might be worth a try if all else fails .

635329 2008-01-30 04:51:00 Sometimes it pays just to set up another messenger address to use and add those whom you do want on your list. Letting them know, of course.

I wasn't sure if you meant your blocked listed people are still showing in your contacts featuring the blocked symbol. If this is the case, right clicking on name should enable you to delete etc.
