I run mailwasher with thunderbird, but lately mailwasher has stopped recognising thunderbird as the default e-mail client. It now takes me to outlook, which I don't use. I have tried every trick I know how, including re-downloading mailwasher, but to no avail. How do I get it to default to thunderbird???? |

Hi pburt. In Mailwasher, check ouit Tools > General Options. To the right of "Launch email application after processing" there is a button marked "Specify". Try that, it might give a dialogue box for selecting... |

Choose Settings - General Options - tick Launch email application after processing - open Specify - Use a preconfigured mail client - Select Mozilla Thunderbird :) |

I used to be a real fan of Mailwasher. However, I withdrew my support for Mailwasher after it withdrew their support for Linux OS's. I know that is hardly relevant here as I assume the original post was from a Windows user. I now use Kshowmail with both of my Linux distros.
