| 306995 | 2004-12-29 00:46:00 | That "Lemon" and "White" colour had my nose right up to the laptop screen! Turned the brightness right down, which improved it. Would be interesting to see the original wording with all the quotes before you posted it. HAPPY NEW YEAR [B ]HAPPY [/B ] [B ]NEW [/B ] YEAR [/B ] Couldn't do that too often. Note: Ignore gaps I left in brackets. Sorry about the shouting....[not... :D ] |

To view faint colours (including those the same colour as the backgound) just ctrl/left-click on the background and all will be highlighted. Some people like to include hidden messages (or even @#$%!! words) in their messages and this will show them up instantly. You might be surprised at what pops up on some blank areas, but not on PF1 of course. Cheers Billy 8-{) :p Let me know if you found this!! |

| 306997 | 2004-12-29 07:06:00 | Let me know if you found this!! CTRL and Left Click didn't do anything for me, so I just clicked and dragged. Oh, and, yes, I found that :@@: |

If it hadn't been for Jester, wouldn't have realised there was anything extra in your message. Mind not too focused right now. Went into lounge to watch the news at about 5pm, woke about half an hour ago - 11.30pm - don't remember if I saw the news at all. That sofa is too damn comfortable. The CTRL and L/Click work for me in IE and Avant Browser. Thanks for that. Cheers :) |

Ctrl+A works even better  as Ctrl+Left Click does not work in Opera . :badpc: We could post all our dirty jokes in this colour and only those "in the know" will be able to see them . |

| 307001 | 2004-12-30 02:12:00 | You mean just "marking" with the mouse for copy/cut" ? My usual approach to light yellow on white (or white on bright yellow or black on dark blue) is to assume that someone has deliberately gone to a lot of trouble to make their (or someone else's) work unreadable. They succeed as far as I'm concerned. Wired magazine used to do it a lot (They might still do it ...). It's what happens when "designers" forget function. When the presentation is considered to be more important than the content, the content is worthless. |
