308034 2004-12-29 02:21:00 or if someone could gimme the filename of the gta2 download so can search through ftp and p2p to get it faster.... 8)

here

Well GTA1 was a unique download link that came in your email and apparently could only be used once, so I guess GTA2 will be much the same. You might want to wait a couple of weeks for the initial rush to die down then grab your copy.

The URL for the download changes, and only allows one download per URL, so if the URL has been used, then the file can't be downloaded via that URL again. I don't know how it works, but that's the idea behind it.

308038 2005-01-01 05:25:00 Would it be legal to mirror it? george12 (7)
308039 2005-01-01 05:31:00 doubt it, you could always just download it then upload it to like a russion server or sumtin? Codex (3761)
308040 2005-01-01 05:46:00 Mirror it as much as you like George, because JSG have a copy of the GTA1 file. At least they did when I last looked, I haven't checked recently to see if it's still there.

Just don't cry if you get served with a legal notice from Rockstar.

308042 2005-01-01 06:15:00 I bought GTA1 for $10 or $20 five years ago. It is a nice game, but it would have been far better with a save feature - I don't often have enough time to complete a whole "level". agent (30)
308043 2005-01-01 06:59:00 to save it you walk into a church!?!? lol.
