| 634955 | 2008-01-30 00:44:00 | As far as we are aware, the last person to fly under Harbour Bridge for real was Fred Ladd, in a Grumman Widgeon amphibian, back in 1967. It was his retirement day as a pilot, so he wasn't worried about losing his licence. There was a trial, but Ladd was discharged without conviction after the judge took his distinguished war flying record into account. What type of aircraft did your mate do it in? |
