| 636278 | 2008-02-01 16:19:00 | Hi I am also having some problems with vista. I have just bought a new computer which comes with vista home premium 32 bit version. I have a premium rapidshare account and use download accelerator plus to download files from RS. Since switching to using vista, I cant download files anymore. When I put the link into DAP it just downloads a 5kb file. I have checked the DAP and RS settings and they match those I use on my XP machine. I have also tried to download the same files through both vista and XP, with the file working normally when using XP but on vista I only get the 5kb file. I guess there must be something about vista which does not like rapidshare. My DAP programme will download other files normally through vista, its just when I try to use rapidshare I have this problem. Does anyone have any suggestion to sort this out? Thanks Jimmyw |

Can you try downloading using just your web browser and see if that works? If I remember RS doesn't officially support DAP so I'd recommend switching over to FlashGet (which is much better than DAP anyway, imo). |
