636146 2008-02-01 02:37:00 Ok, so the other week I TRIED to enable libary sharing on WMP11 for my Xbox 360 and as soon as I ticked it, I got a BSOD saying

------------------------------------------------------------
A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer

BAD_POOL_HEADER

*lots of useless info*

Technical Information:

*** STOP: 0x0000000019 (lots of numbers in brackets here)

Beginning dump of physical memory
...Complete
------------------------------------------------------------

Ok...so I manually turned off laptop, and started up again. Got back into it and tried to tick it again (to see if it was a once off) and happened again.

So i uninstalled (well, reverted back to WMP9) and today just tried to install it again from the exe file and as soon as I click on it the same thing happens.

How do I fix this and whats causing it?

Windows XP Service Pack 2

636147 2008-02-01 02:52:00 Did you configure the Xbox / WMP11, like this ? (www.microsoft.com WindowsMedi)

And follow this (www.xbox.com)

636148 2008-02-01 02:58:00 Not the first way, just the second.

Connected up via router and laptop, ticked share libary and came up with Xbox 360, so selected that then boom.

636150 2008-02-01 09:10:00 Click start/run type in eventvwr in the logs look for the exact time the message popped up, there will be a code along with a lot of info- copy and post back the COMPLETE error message.

Also - you have XP but these posts may shred some light - its media center, but thats only XP with a couple of warm add ins. Here (forums.xbox.com) and Here (boardreader.com tml) Lots to read from and possible solutions on the right.

Aslo try this - first answer Here (www.techspot.com)

636151 2008-02-01 10:10:00 I can't remember the exact time, and there's quite a few errors.

I looked at the first answer, I already had that disabled.

I just tried to install WMP11 again and this time it worked. When I got into it it gave me a message saying sharing was disabled, and I kept it that way.

Now I'd just like to be able to share it without getting this prob.
