636036 2008-01-31 23:39:00 I was wondering if anybody had any experience with email only accounts from xtra, i had heard they were about $2.50 a month to just keep your xtra email address going.

I am in the process of changing from xtra to ihug (home phone + calling + broadband) to take advantage of the years free broadband. I would be interested in keeping my old xtra email address as i have a lot of email contacts and would take along time to get them all using my new email address. Possibly for a few months until it was no longer receiving any emails to it.

After searching the useless telecom website i was unable to find any information on this or how to set it up.

636039 2008-02-01 02:34:00 Pretty sure it's one Hilary a month and has been for a while now.
Haven't seen a bill for a while as it is my wife that has the email only account with Xtra.

636040 2008-02-01 02:55:00 You don't really need to pay anything for the e-mail account if your lucky. when i changed from xtra to xnet they canceled the internet plan but not my e-mail account so i have a free xtra e-mail account. I'm not sure if they forgot to do it or whether they don't cancel it in the first place and they only charge $2.50/month to those who ask for an e-mail account. spaceman8815 (4112)
