| 635993 | 2008-01-31 20:37:00 | I ghosted a drive with bad sectors to a good drive, but the partition is corrupt :( It starts booting windows so I thought I would be able to do a windows repair, but the windows setup CD sees it as unknown partition type. What are my options for recovering the data? It would be great if I could get the current windows install booting, but I realise that is a long shot. |

If none of that works, try a repair reinstall again, sometimes doing the chkdsk and fixmbr etc will allow the XP setup to recognize the partition. |
