| 310901 | 2005-01-05 09:21:00 | I'm using a vanilla K8N with an AMD 64 3000+ , what exactly do you want to know? | Metla (12) | ||
| 310902 | 2005-01-05 16:25:00 | Thanks for the reply. I just wanted to know what they were like. Basicly, would you buy them again? I've been a strong supporter of Intel. Always been frightened of the heat comming from an AMD. However everyone seems to like them now so I thpught I may make the change. I've got a perfectly good case with everything in it except a M/B and PCU so I might as well get it working again. I assume that the bits and pieces that go with an Intel will work just as well with AMD. Any comments? Jack |

| 310903 | 2005-01-05 20:33:00 | Sure, I'm happy with the the board, The system is stable and performs as benchmarks on the net indicated it would, And Asus are known for their build quality. I have also used the board in a number of systems i have built for others. Your other bits and pieces should be fine, I just used a stick of generic 512mb DDR 400 in mine. |
