308768 2004-12-30 04:39:00 This is quite stupid when we've just had one of these (similar) polls.

Having said that...

Absolutely

308769 2004-12-30 04:45:00 Most of these polls have had little substance. "Better than " ?? When I was heavily involved in genealogy software, folk would ask " what is the best genealogy program", and the answer is the one which meets your needs best. Ditto with browsers, CPUs, OS, alcohol, etc etc.
Give polls a rest, folks ..

Basically tony is correct but this one has a small substance issue.

Firefox runs on top of the O/S as an application. as it should.

IE is an intergall part of the O/S.

For this simple reason firefox and severall non O/S intergrating brousers will allways be better than IE.

308772 2004-12-30 07:36:00 All have their strengths, IE suits me more than Opera or Firefox because of its better off line reading capabilities. tutaenui (1724)
308773 2004-12-30 13:29:00 All ECT,

IE suits me more than Opera or Firefox because of its better off line reading capabilities.

Could you elaborate on this a little?

I find things to be rather the other way, as Firefox allows me a larger text size with much greater ease.
