There is another way which is sometimes quicker when you know who made the original posting: going through the Members List. "M" for Mary Parks, page down once to find her listing, click on that, "Find all posts by ...", page down three times, and there is your answer. | Graham L (2) | ||

The method you suggested evidently is the method you would use,to me it's an anathema,now if at sometime you see me ask a question and you feel there are other ways one might get an answer other than the one you approve of,please feel free to not sally forth with the solution. In case you had just "not thought", I took the trouble to suggest the preferred ways to access previously posted information . If that is a problem for you, tough . In general, I prefer to tell someone how to discover information (often by suggesting keywords for Google --- keyword selection is an art, not a science) than to just give only the information requested . (Often the request is incomplete, anyway, so access to wider sources often saves time all round) . If I give a man a fish he eats for a day; if I give him a fishing line, he can feed himself . . . |
