| 308668 | 2004-12-29 16:15:00 | What are the benefits of a symbian mobile as oppose to a normal mobile? IT can read word,excel,powerpoint documents etc.Is that all? My dad says with symbian phones you can upgrade the software inside yourself without taking it into a shop like other normal phones.Is that true? I presume symbian mobile phone can surf the net like a PC rite? |

Could you afford to "surf the net" (very slowly, on a very limited resolution tiny screen) with a phone at $1 a minute? Indeed, what are the "benefits"? :eek: |
