| 635894 | 2008-02-03 02:49:00 | You missed \MSN Messenger\ (Program Files\MSN Messenger\fsshext) But it wouldn't have worked anyway - wrong filename now :) The latest file is 8.5.1302.1018 and it would have changed many times since Jun 2006 versions 8.0.xxx.xxx Also the directory location is now C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger (I think yours will be) SO... Go to the above Messanger folder and check the complete filename of your fsshext file (example : fsshext.8.5.1302.1018.dll is the latest) Change the xx.xx in the following to what yours is and should be good to go. regsvr32 -u "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\fsshext.8.5.xx.xx.dll" no need for the -s (silent - no output) switch - if there's an error, it's better to see that there has been :) Thats why you havent seen any previouse errors from it |
