636043 2008-01-31 23:19:00 Hi,

Many people ask me, which RAM is suitable for their laptop or
desktop computers . Although I answer to match the number on the
existing RAM e . g . DDR400 etc .
As per I know, just required to match this number on any online store
and just buy it .

I am talking about the things required to consider for RAM compatibility .

Please guide me, what should I look for . Is it safe to buy the RAM by just
looking the number on the sticker e . g . DDR400 etc ?

If sticker is not there on the existing RAM, is there any way to find the
RAM type?

Thanks,
