637396 2008-02-04 11:02:00 anyone know of a goosd baxcklit keyboarsd for a reasonable pricxe?

some time ago i broke the legs off my keyboarsd

that was ok

then the baxcklight stoppeds working

that was ok

then the baxckspaxce ansd sdelete keys starteds getting stuxck

that was frustrating

the left arrow starteds getting stuxck too

that was frustrating

but a few sdays ago the keys starteds to axct up:

23 32 23 23 23 23 23 23 23 23 23
xc xc xc cx xc xc xc xc cx xc xc
ds sd sd sd sd sd sd sd sd sd sd sd

it varies as to the result from the 23 - gah! - three - broken keys

obviously it is time for a new keyboards

so, anyone know of a goosd baxcklit keyboarsd for a reasonable pricxe?

The Logiteh G15 is a nice one, but at about $115 i'm not sure if you'd consider that a reasonable price. I'm sure there would be some cheaper ones.

637399 2008-02-04 20:17:00 think Logitech G15 or Microsoft Reclusa will be your best bet. Jan Birkeland (4741)
637400 2008-02-04 20:30:00 The Logitech G15s are nice keyboards but due to the LCD screen are more expensive than other back light keyboard.

What about the Saitek Eclipse (www.saitekusa.com), Saitek Eclipse II (www.saitekusa.com)? seems good and cheaper than the G15...

637402 2008-02-05 04:07:00 Saitek Eclipse ftw! Or II if you think it's better (I like the original better tbh) --Wolf-- (128)
637403 2008-02-05 07:03:00 Sure looks like you do need a new keyboard, the x and s keys seem to be sticking a wee bit ;)

I use my LCD screen a lot in games, can tell you stats, health, ammo etc, can show you system usage (CPU, RAM etc) and even the temps, so really depends if you want that information.

637404 2008-02-05 09:44:00 I bought a Saitek Eclipse from Harvey Norman a while back for $50.00.
I find it feels cheap compared to my normal Logitech and the "E" key is smudging. The keys have a long travel which took a while to get used to.
I find a backlit board so handy, but I'd really like a backlit board that's as nice to use as a good regular one.

637405 2008-02-05 10:17:00 I didn't know Harvey Norman sells them. Have you considered trying the Eclipse II? --Wolf-- (128)
