| 637272 | 2008-02-04 02:32:00 | Using Avast antivirus Home Edition, their "quick scan" of the DVD's shows they are clean. However I scanned the December '07/ January '08 disk with the "thorough scan" setting and it flagged 6 items as "unable to scan". 4 items quoted "the file is a decompression bomb", and 2 items as either "file is corrupted", or "archive is corrupted". Q 1. What is a decompression bomb? Q 2. What threat do these 6 items pose? Q 3. Is it safe to open any of these 6 flagged items? |
