637111 2008-02-03 20:13:00 After installing Creative Sound Balster Audigy2 ZS and loading its software that came with it this error message appears each time I start the computer:

"The instruction at "0x7c91142e" refrenced memory at "ox61776e69." The memory could not be read.
Click OK to terminate the program. Click CANCEL to debug the propgram."

How can I fix the error so it won't appear each time I start the computer?

I'm runnin XP Pro on an AMD 3500 with 1GB memory. Thanks for your help in advance.

637112 2008-02-03 20:23:00 Uninstall them, reboot, then disable any antivirus programs, and firewalls.

And teatimer, if this running.

Then reinstall them. Or redownload the drivers / program from the Creative site.

They maybe corrupt.

The ram isnt faulty is it?

637113 2008-02-10 10:13:00 Sorry for taking so long to reply . I've uninstalled all the Creative software that came with the sound card, closed the computer and restarted it . There error message still shows .

I read the manual that cme with the sound card . One part I'm not sure whether I did it correctly was disabling the onbard soundcard from BIOS . How do I know I have disabled the onboard soundcard?

Any other solutions?

Many thanks .

637114 2008-02-10 10:15:00 About the RAMs I'm not sure whether it's faulty or not but it was installed last March when I upgraded my computer; the computer shop did it all for me. pythagros (13360)
