The Inquirer get slammed a lot for being Anti Micro$oft.

They post a lot of freelance Articles.

One of the points is/was that it can happen to, and be done to, anybody.

It was/is a little thick, if they write like that continously their will be a reaction from the semi proffesionall reader which they need for advertising revenue so I would not expect too many articles at that level.

312844 2005-01-10 21:03:00 How could someone take an article written like that seriously. "Thunderchicken, FireBadger, Mozzarella" seriously what professional person could pass childish name-calling like that off as journalism. ninja (1671)

Jeez you guys are a hoot

The Inquirer is a spoof site, which you would probably have realised if you selected any of the pages accessible from their menu. They linked the Mozilla report to give just enough credibility to suck in all the defensive Mozilla/Firefox etc users. That was classic professional comic journalism.

Relax, enjoy your individual browser choices, there's no need to defend them. It's a free world and minorities are fully protected by International Convention. Dubya will protect you if anybody turns up the heat.

Sorry, but that one was worthy of April Fools Day. :p

Cheers

Postscript:

Look Here (www.theinquirer.net) for another Inquirer article to redress the balance. This one is largely correct. Search for the Itanium/Centrino spoof as well, it is worth a laugh.:)
