| 311163 | 2005-01-06 08:40:00 | i have stated to hate an and all progras like this it leads my granddad in to a huge rant abuot how bad they are:groan:, and no matter how many times i point out that contray to waht he says, "most people do not BELEIVE that videogames are the same as real life". in response to my futile attempts, he tuts. so i boycott these programs so i can enjoy my life which is a major loss to me, because some of tehm sound interesting |

And despite this trauma, I've turned out well . Indeed, I haven't felt the need to murder for ages . If there is a problem with computer games, it is that they are so compelling . They are also sedentary . No exercise or physical interaction with other people . This is unhealthy . However, the violence etc is no different to that contained in centuries of fairy tales . And indeed in everyday life prior to the 19th century . So we need not fear for the longterm effects of these games on our youth . |
