| 310948 | 2005-01-05 21:26:00 | I have win98 and bought winxp upgrade. I reformated my hd and tried to load xp, but it could not find prev-windows. then I loaded win98 but i can not find my coa to finish my install. is there anything I can do Thanks Jeff |

| 310949 | 2005-01-05 22:09:00 | If your Win98 is a full MS install CD and not a recovery CD, you may be able to put it in the CD drive when XP looks for a qualifying product. There should be a "browse" option to allow XP to look in the CD drive. That's how I do the upgrade reinstall from an ME computer here, just show it the ME Cd (which, incidentally was also an upgrade CD) and it is happy. Then put the XP CD back in the drive and it is away. |
