True Speedy Gonzales.

But then whom do we believe. This happens in any facet of life.

The old Holden vs Ford.
AMD vs Intel.
Heinz baked beans vs Watties.
Global warming vs it is not happening.
The Christians can not agree with other christians hence all the various churches and sects.
The Muslims can not agree among themselves either.
Do not get me started on Maori activists and tribal problems.
Some people just can't get on with the next door neighbour.
I could make the list rather longer but for the moment I do not have time.

For me I make decisions based on income, budget, moral choices and other values I learned through my parents, schooling, friends and reading.

I have made mistakes in the past but never been in the police cells or prison and I have no intention of starting now.

Please note that this is not a comment about you.

637018 2008-02-11 07:49:00 Could mean return to microsoft  The main reasons I'm waiting till MS actually make it available to the public are :

So far seen 3 different SP1's all greatly different sizes in Down Load - so which is the correct one ?

But mainly - since there are known driver issues, and MS are not saying what drivers they are - Just my damn luck it would all turn to custard.
Vista's Been out a year - waiting a couple more weeks for the update, I think I can wait.

637019 2008-02-11 07:56:00 From a few sites I've seen, most say refresh 2 is the RTM

And one site says there are rumours saying:

Vista SP1 is due to be released 18 or 19/2/07
Server 2008 - 27/2 as planned
XP SP3 - March 24/25

And another says

* Milestone 1 (Feb 4, 2008): Available to OEM and Retail Channel

* Milestone 2 (Early March 2008): Vista SP1 Volume Licensing Availability

* Milestone 3 (Mid March 2008): Vista SP1 availability through Windows Update/MSDN/TechNet

* Milestone 4 (April 2008): Will be pushed via Automatic Update

637023 2008-02-15 23:17:00 Looks like it may possibly be the driver issues that MS warned about - So far when ever any updates have come through for Vista I have looked at what they are. made a restore point manually and then installed - so far nothing is actually the SP1 update.

The start of that post relates to
My install of the SP1 RC Refresh has gone wrong RC - Not finished, Release Candidate. You can expect problems with RC.
