637377 2008-02-04 10:09:00 If you set your limit to 10gb, and go over that you will be slowed down, and not charged anymore.

However, you can always change your cap at any time, and then change it back if you want.

And if you don't use that whole 10gb, you don't pay for it (all).

Are you with them wolf? If so how is the speed and reliability?

637379 2008-02-04 20:55:00 Obviously on the wrong plan then if you only use that much in Internet, and phone, unless someones making lots of toll calls.
If you have cable TV as well, then thats added into the plan.

Hell we have Telstra, use the top end plan, TV, Phones lines x2 & additional channels on the TV and our bill is usually around $200 - 230, BUT $100 + Per month is easily on tolls for the business.

Why don't you try Skype for your tolls? at .017eurocents per minute it is cheaper by far than using the local toll system. the only draw back is that you have to remember to put in 0064 before the number. Don't use Skype for calls to cellphones though as it is about the same price as calling from your cellphone.

Both are good, I've never had any probs with Xnet (only when they've had outages). But thats normal with most ISP's.

I would check your connections at home (going to the router etc, if you've got a router). Is it connected with USB (which may explain it), or ethernet?

Or if the exchange is the prob, changing ISP (and if it uses the same exchange), somehow I dont think it'll make any diff.

FS/FS plan, and around 10gb usage for me is about $60 a month. I've never had any outages with them and the speeds are amazing (compared to Xtra)

oh, and for your cutting out problem, what kind of router do you have? You can try flashing it if it was a Telecom supplied one to get rid of their crappy settings? on it.

Don't use Skype for calls to cellphones though as it is about the same price as calling from your cellphone. About 60% of my calls are land line, the other 40 % are to cells, the tolls vary from month to month. I've had several other providers contact me trying to get to change to them, when I tell them what I got now with the TV, phones and Internet and what price I Currently pay no one so far has been able to match it. wainuitech (129)

I should point out that .017 eurocents is about 0.034 NZ cents per minute which means you can talk for 10 minutes for .34cents NZ!!!!!! show me a toll provider in NZ who charges anywhere near that price - even for their specials.
