finally you have made the switch :) ive got dial up to and that doesnt stop me from downloading, i downloaded 1.5gb last month, so it does show that i can download my own linux distros and other stuff :thumbs:

311628 2005-01-07 08:41:00 i use pop3 to get my email and since this is my mums work well things arent set up the way i like them ( old versions of msn , no pop3 , INTERNET EXPLORER ) , shame my mum doesnt have a cdrw though , could have gotten a few game demos. I would work here but my mum says to get my A + cert first ( sitting exams at the end of the holiday ) noone (22)

Pretty much... within reason. I regularly haul Linux ISO's down (though they mostly come off CityLink) and other stuff for personal use. Hell sometimes I do it just to test the connection :eek:

p2p is heavily frowned upon (i.e. written warning frowned upon) due to the obvious legalities and potential security issues, though I have used it to grab a particularly large torrent or two - very effective for torrenting :D
