| 638227 | 2008-02-07 07:11:00 | Hey, I just got an Ipod mini off a mate, plugged it into my comp but it can't see it. Don't even hear the classic 'removable media plugged in' sound. Is there a way to restart the Ipod without using a pc? Thanks |

| 638232 | 2008-02-07 08:25:00 | The first to do is try resetting the iPod! By either clicking the lock button back and forward for 5 times or holding down the menu and centre button at once for 10 seconds. Then if you have a normal charger use it to fully charge the unit. From experience if this doesn't help then the firmware is corrupted on the unit. Needs servicing if none of the options work from above. |
