| 638058 | 2008-02-06 21:30:00 | 1 . If Nvidia firewall is installed, uninstall it . 2 . You may have to remove the DSE card or disable it . To find out WHY the onboard LAN isnt working . Or to get the onboard LAN working properly . But a few posts in the ASUS forum for this mobo say: I powered off the computer and completely unplugged the power cord from the power supply . Waited a couple minutes, then re-inserted the ethernet cable before putting the power cord back in and powering the computer back on . It automagically started working again . A dumb and simple fix, but it worked . Merely powering the pc off and back on didn't work Looks like the above helped 5-6 people who were having the same prob as you . And make sure the ethernet cable is in properly . Is the modem you're using a router, with more than 1 ethernet port??? If you are, you're not using a crossover cable are you?? If you are, plug the cable into the back of the router . |
