637912 2008-02-06 17:52:00 Hi,

In XP, I was able to copy any ttf file from font directory of windows folder to any other folder on my computer. But in vista, under the windows/font directory, if I right click->copy the font. And when I go to anyother folder and right click then it does not show any paste. I tried to ctrl+c and ctrl+v but it does not allow me to copy any ttf file.

I have installed Hindi( language ) Notepad and I think there is one ttf file installed with that software. Now if I write some thing in that notepad and send it to my friend. On his computer there might not be that font installed and that is why I want to send ttf file so that he can paste that ttf file in his windows/font directory. But vista does not allow me to copy it.

Is there any idea? I was able to do this in XP easily.

Thanks,
prayami (13094)
